Occultation of 2.9 mag star by asteroid 4557 Mika
On 2012 Apr 09 23:33UT, the 20 km diameter asteroid (4557) Mika will occult a 2.9 mag star in the constellation Capricornus for observers along a path across India.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star
will drop by 14.9 mag to 17.8 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most
0.7 seconds.
